Downtown Revitalization Project – Final Component Completed

The Town of Gore Bay is pleased to share that the final piece of the Downtown Revitalization Project has now been installed. The new Community Hall railings are in place, officially marking the completion of this major multi-year initiative.

We are also happy to announce that the Community Hall lift is back in full operation, restoring full accessibility for all residents, visitors, and community groups using the facility.

This project has delivered significant improvements to our downtown, including upgraded sidewalks, lighting, crosswalks, public spaces, and accessibility features. Together, these enhancements strengthen Gore Bay’s role as a welcoming and vibrant service hub for Western Manitoulin.
