Welcome to Gore Bay

Although I was born in Toronto I was raised  in Gore Bay and except for the 4 years in post secondary education I have lived here. I worked in the health care field for 32 years as a registered nurse retiring in 2005. Now that I'm retired I have more time for reading, watching T.V. and being involved with the community. Over the years I have sat on several boards such as the curling/ golf clubs. My present council committee is the Citizen Services Committee. This involves Theatre, Recreation, Welcome Bags, Seniors and Volunteer Events , Yuk Yuks, etc

I welcome citizen participation and encourage citizens to be involved and attend monthly meetings
