Museum

Located at 12 Dawson Street. The property was originally a jailhouse/jailer's residence, now it is converted to represent the history of early settlers with exquisite displays which will take you back in time. A newer addition to the museum hosts mesmerizing art exhibits. The museum also has a variety of books on current exhibits, fossils and boating. This building is located a 5 minute walk from the marina.

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the Lacloche Spirit: The Equivalent Light" exhibition will be running at the Gore Bay Museum from June 10 to August 6. The grand opening of the exhibit will take place on June 10 from 1-4 and the artist, Dougal Bichan, will present.
