Gordon/Barrie Island is hosting a Firemen's Reception at their Community Centre April 17th at 7pm. This event is a thank you to our volunteer Fire Department, featuring a presentation to Fire Chief Mike Addison as well as the presentation of service pins to the volunteer firefighters. They are such an integral and important part of our community and it is important for us to show up for them and say thank you, just as they show up for us when   we need them the most.
