All Saints Anglican Church: This is the only building in the heart of Gore Bay that was spared in the big fire of 1908. Located immediately to the right of the Valumart, you can hear the church bell ringing at the top of the belfry every Sunday just before services start. A small but friendly community is ready to welcome you at All Saints. They’ve even got a church motto: “Where we’re always glad you came!”
Services at 11am each Sunday; 30 Meredith St. 705-282-3030
Lyons Memorial United Church: The only stone church in town and the home of the largest congregation in Gore Bay. Established in 1925 and the location of Gore Bay’s famous Fall Turkey Dinners. Generally called “The United Church” by locals, this church has an active event calendar.
Services at 11am each Sunday; 12 Hall St. 705-282-2011
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church: You’ll find this church just south of Lyons Memorial, right across the road from the elementary school. A small, friendly community is happy to have you share Sunday mass with them.
